Who we are and what we do with your data.
At Ogarom we respect your privacy. This policy explains who is responsible for your personal data, what information we collect, for what purpose, with whom we share it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.
The data controller is CloserBroker LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its address at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, operator of the Ogarom real estate portal (ogarom.com). What data we keep about you.
We collect the following types of information when you interact with Ogarom:
Information you provide to us
- Name, email address and phone number when you request information about a property or create an account.
- The specific property you write to us about.
- The message you send through the contact forms.
- Search preferences (city, budget, property type).
Information we collect automatically
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of the request).
- On-site behavior (properties viewed, searches performed, time on page).
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 4.
We do not request or need sensitive personal data. Please do not include that kind of information in the messages you send us.
What we use what we collect for.
The main —and necessary— purpose for which we process your data is to put you in contact with the real estate agency you choose:
- When you complete and submit the contact form of a property, you give us your consent to communicate your contact details (name, email, phone and message), together with the property you are interested in, to the agency responsible for that listing —the one you chose— for the sole purpose of allowing it to contact you.
- From that moment on, the conversation continues directly between you and the agency, which processes your data under its own responsibility to follow up on your request.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
Additionally, and only if you give us your specific consent, we may process your data for secondary purposes that are not necessary for that contact:
- Sending you alerts and notices about properties that match your search.
- Improving our services through aggregated, anonymous analytics.
You can object to these secondary purposes at any time, without affecting the main service, by writing to us at privacidad@ogarom.com. We also process your data when necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.
Cookies, pixels and other technologies.
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how it is used and —only with your consent— to measure audiences and personalize ads. You can manage or withdraw your consent from your browser settings or from the site’s cookie preferences panel when available.

- Required for the basic operation of the site. They cannot be turned off.
- Analytics
- Help us understand how the site is used (for example, Google Analytics).
- Marketing
- Personalize the ads you see inside and outside Ogarom. They are only enabled with your consent.
Who we share your data with.
Ogarom shares your personal information only in these cases:
- The agency responsible for the property you chose— receives your contact details when you submit that property’s form, so it can contact you. It is the only recipient of that form.
- Technology providers (data processors)— hosting, email delivery and analytics, which process the data on Ogarom’s behalf and under confidentiality and data processing agreements.
- Financial partners — only if you use the mortgage simulator and expressly request it, to process your query with the partner you choose. This is a separate flow with its own consent.
- Authorities — when an applicable law or court order requires us to.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with other third parties for their own commercial or marketing purposes.
What you can do with your data.
In accordance with the data protection law applicable in the countries where we operate —in particular the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) in Mexico and Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 in Colombia— you have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Cancellation or erasure — delete your data when it is no longer needed.
- Objection — object to processing for secondary or marketing purposes.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
- Restriction — request that processing be restricted in the cases provided by law.
In Mexico, the rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection are known as ARCO rights.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacidad@ogarom.com. We will respond within the periods set by applicable law. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence.
How we protect your information.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and data processing agreements with our providers. No system is infallible, but we work to reduce risks and limit the data we process to what is strictly necessary.
How long we keep your data.
We keep your data for as long as needed to put you in contact with the agency and handle your request, and afterwards for the period required by applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. The agency you contact keeps, on its own account, the data you provide to it under its own privacy policy.
If your data travels outside your country.
Ogarom is operated by CloserBroker LLC (United States) and uses technology providers that may host or process data in the United States or other countries. When your data is transferred outside your country of residence, we adopt reasonable safeguards —contractual clauses and data processing agreements with our providers— to protect it in accordance with applicable law.
How we notify you of updates.
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. When the change is significant, we will indicate it on this page by updating the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, we will notify you. Continued use of the portal after the update implies acceptance of the version in force.
